Seven Wonders of The Past

1. Listed first of the miracle in china of course is the Great Wall of China. This is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Extending along 4000miles, this is the only manmade structure on earth that can be seen from the moon. The building is located in Beijing, capital of China.

 

2. Next is The Forbidden City, imperial palace china dynasty. It is the largest ancient castle in the world. Stretching more than seven million square feet and contains more than 10,000 rooms, this building is older than 500 years, and was built to illustrate the political power of China.

 

3. Terracotta Warriors unearthed and discovered in 1974. Now, a museum that holds all the oxidising terracottas. Near this building there is the tomb of Emperor Qin. Until now many mesteri that have not been revealed about this building. The building is located in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. Terrracotta believed to be built to keep the Warriors of Qin's stronghold.

 

4. Hanging Monastery is located in Mount Hengshan, Shaanxi, China. Built more than 1400 years ago. On the side there is a steep ravine, on the part of this building with wooden beams held, and with a structure that is strong enough to withstand a major earthquake even in the year 1303.


5. Leshan Buddha statue located at Leshan, Sichuan, China. The world's largest Buddha statue, the statue was carved by Buddhist monks over 1000 years. It took 90 years to complete. This statue has a 233 ft high and 90 feet wide.

6. Wudang Mountain, located in Wudang, Hubei, China. On the slopes of Mount Wudang there are temples, palaces and bridges are very spectakuler. Also including the city sacred to the Chinese state. It is also known as the country of origin of Wudang Kungfu Tai Chi and Kung Fu.

 

7. Shi Bao Zhai Temple, located in the Yangtze River.
